Salvation

In life, we often find ourselves going down paths that may or may not be intended or ordained by God for us to travel, yet He allows us to. The paths that we choose to take can either lead us down roads of success in all areas of our lives, or on the other hand, they can lead us down roads of depression, frustration and insurmountable failures.

Sometimes, we tend to find out that the easy road is not always the best road to take in terms of achieving a happy and successful life that is both self-fulfilling and pleasing to God. We also misunderstand the representation of manmade success when we look at those who happen to obtain a lot wealth and flourish from the choices they’ve made.

However, we often see many of them fall dramatically and drastically from the torment of depression and the pressures to sustain their illusion of wealth. This process happens because their relationship with God and concern for others didn’t quite flourish as their individualistic achievements.

But the Lord offers a road, often regarded as being straight and narrow, that can lead to a life more fulfilling than anything that you can imagine in this world. It is one that offers a life of joy, peace, love, and an eternity of blessings that cannot be measured, searched or scaled by any metric system created by man. The road in which we speak of is the road of salvation through our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.

A man on his knees praying

By believing in your heart, and in your mind that Jesus is the Lord, that He died on the cross for your sins, as well as accept Him as your Savior, His salvation is as good as yours. Now don’t get us wrong, the road to salvation is far from easy, for it can be hard to give up the life one has become accustomed to for so long. Therefore, not many people in our world choose to take this road freely before disaster hits him or her, causing them to do so under the pretense of fear and not shear faith.

But God’s salvation is as bountiful as His love for us and His desire to see His children enjoy and eat the good of the land that He has provided for us. He wants us to live a successful life of complete happiness, love, liberty and bountiful blessings, but these things can only come through our acceptance of His salvation through Jesus and willingness to give our lives to Him.

God states in His word that,

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
3 John 1:2

Jesus also affirms this when He states,

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 10:10

You can have a good life that may bring you happiness and wealth through your own abilities, cunningness, and wit without any regard for others, and the Lord Himself. Just know at the end of the day, God is still the one that allows even this type of shameful road in life to be taken and He has ability to change it in an instant and at His will. But if you’re looking for a better, more fulfilling life that offers an opportunity at a change in your current status, to obtain unwavering wealth with a clear conscience, and eternal life, then the road to and after salvation in God through Jesus is the path you want to take.
