What’s This Test All About

Pastor Jonathan McKnight delivers an incredible, yet encouraging message that provides us with some understanding as to why we go through certain tests in our lives. We may not understand it at the start, but as we go through test and trials, we begin to learn more and more about God and how uses them to serve a greater purpose in our lives in the end. We often ask the question, “What is this test all about?” either at the beginning or about halfway through it. We do this because we reflect on our good character or the good things we’ve done and do, and wonder what warrant us being put through a difficult situation. But, what we fail to realize is that our good is a filthy rags, and we’re not above being tested by God, regardless of how good we believe we are, or what good we’ve done. God will allow uncomfortable things to happen in our lives that will test our faith in Him, challenge us to grow, and provoke us to reach our full potential in Him. However, it is up to us to accept the challenges, trust in His process, and win, or continue sitting around asking questions like, “Why me?”, or “What did I do wrong?” and not go or grow anywhere.
